Press buttons.Push handle.
Look through door.
If you see anyone yell and close door.
If you don't see anyone, crawl through doorway.
Press more buttons.
If anyone approaches you during this process, yell, explain in jibberish what you're doing, and go through door, closing it firmly on their faces.
(Note: It's important that this method also works on bedroom doors.)
