And time does fly
Wow, almost a year later! Okay, so... I haven't a clue what's happened in the past year. lol! Josh is so much better about putting updates on facebook... I'm rarely on the home computer.
Connor is almost ready for kindergarten. We've registered him, set him up for the community after-school and summer-care programs. My sister is pregnant, we're all delighted! My oldest nephew turned 18!
Josh is no longer at ESI, just a long story, and those who know us know the story. He's at a local place for now, working for interesting and pretty cool people. He misses the corporate, professional world, though.
I'm in same job, still enjoying it.
Connor has almost proven that he's "the boss" and his feud/fear of Mist has diminished. He's already just about too big for the bike we got him last summer! Those growth spurts are insane!
And here we are getting ready to prepare for yet another Connor birthday. Wow. Pics to come!

A Monumental Weekend.

Everyone remembers their first bike. I remember riding tricycles at my Grandma's. Josh remembers his first bike and the one after, the day he got both. I remember the first bike I had with it's banana seat. Man, what days! And here we have Connor's first bike. He can even use the breaks! Not so great about steering yet, but he's working on it. His goal is to be able to ride down and up the entire circle without any help from Mom and Dad so he can ride his new bike to the park. What a smile!
Play Time!
A typical weekend spent with the neighbors... in which the neighbor-Dad and I look on while the kids gang up on Josh.
The neighbor-Dad and kids are moving back to Greenbay soon... it'll break all of our hearts. Connor adores Angelina, she's his best friend. He will miss them so much! Their Dad has become a good friend to Josh and me too, has been a wonderful friend for guy-time. What will we do without them?!

Josh's B-day Surprise
So, for Josh's big 3-0 birthday last month, his mom arranged a surprise for one of his 2 surprise parties... our sister-in-law and nephews came down special for the party from Park Rapids. On top of that, Pals came to, too... Josh was thrilled! We had a 2nd party the next day, with other friends, Cass, Sherlyn, Chad, Jayden, and family, Chris, Sara, and John. Mom was unfortunately in the hospital at the time. Josh had a GREAT birthday! The nephews stayed overnight on Saturday night, and as anticipated, the boys played lots and lots of games.
