We went to Lowry Nature Center in Victoria for Connor's birthday and met a falcon and an owl... the kids built a fort outside and had LOTS of room to run around! Great party fun!

A Monumental Weekend.
Everyone remembers their first bike. I remember riding tricycles at my Grandma's. Josh remembers his first bike and the one after, the day he got both. I remember the first bike I had with it's banana seat. Man, what days! And here we have Connor's first bike. He can even use the breaks! Not so great about steering yet, but he's working on it. His goal is to be able to ride down and up the entire circle without any help from Mom and Dad so he can ride his new bike to the park. What a smile!
Play Time!
A typical weekend spent with the neighbors... in which the neighbor-Dad and I look on while the kids gang up on Josh.
The neighbor-Dad and kids are moving back to Greenbay soon... it'll break all of our hearts. Connor adores Angelina, she's his best friend. He will miss them so much! Their Dad has become a good friend to Josh and me too, has been a wonderful friend for guy-time. What will we do without them?!
future daughter-in-law?
Connor is determined to grow up with a career as Optimus Prime. He will marry the neighbor-girl, whom he is hopelessely in love with. He will have a house with his own phone and a truck and a car (both bigger than Mommy and Daddy's), and he will allow Grandma Marie to live with him. Or so he says.
